FRP and GRP
FRP means fiber-reinforced plastic. GRP means glass-reinforced plastic. Muqi’s products on this website use glass fibers within a resin matrix.
Mesh pitch and clear opening
Pitch measures from one grid centerline to the next. Clear opening describes the free space between bars. A mesh dimension should identify which measurement it represents.
The profile cross-section
A section drawing defines the outer shape, thicknesses and key dimensions. Length is a separate product dimension. Connections and assembly details need their own definition.
A photograph and a specification
A photograph helps explain shape, color and visible details. Dimensions, material composition and performance require matching product information.

How is molded grating different from a pultruded profile?
Molded grating is a panel with an open-grid structure. A pultruded profile has a constant cross-section along its length. They are different product forms made by different processes.
Does a section shape establish structural capacity?
No. Capacity depends on the actual product, material, geometry, support conditions, connections and design. Use relevant evidence for that product and arrangement.
Can the specification be discussed before everything is decided?
Yes. Send the product type, intended use and information you already have. Dimensions and other open points can then be clarified.
